It all started when Sam’s sister joined the Marines in 2023. He went to her graduation and was pulled to join the service. However he not only has a family but businesses he is in charge of. In the end we decided it was now or never and we flipped our lives upside down to make sure Sam had the chance to serve as a marine. 

After sending his brother off to Bootcamp we found out we were pregnant with baby number 2! Sam had already started his process to go to bootcamp and his graduation was set to be after baby number 2 was born, meaning he would miss the birth of his second daughter. 

We have fully embraced the flexible lifestyle of a military life and so far it has sent us on quite the adventure. A large part of our life now involves the military however not everyone that comes to our site can relate to the challenges of being a military family. We wanted a place to share our knowledge and stories and that is why we made this blog page.
